An evening of protest in the center of Cagliari : a group of anarchists blocked the traffic by positioning themselves in the middle of the street in Largo Carlo Felice. Amidst banners, choirs and smoke bombs, they set off from piazza Costituzione for a demonstration that crossed via Manno and then converged under the statue of Carlo Felice, with consequent paralysis of circulation.

There were about fifty participants, some hooded, and they were closely monitored by the police who patrol the area on a daily basis. A van from the Mobile Department of the Police Headquarters was joined by another of the Carabinieri, as well as numerous agents from the local police and, obviously, from Digos.

The demonstration, which then moved towards the Marina, was organized to protest against the 41 bis, the hard prison regime which today was confirmed against Alfredo Cospito, the anarchist militant detained in Bancali because he was convicted of a attack carried out with two bombs against the police station of Fossano, in the province of Cuneo, in 2006 (the attack caused neither deaths nor injuries).

During the night, still in Cagliari, windows and ATMs of the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro branch, on the corner of via Dante and via Cao di San Marco, were smashed in a raid .
