The Carabinieri of the NORM Radiomobile Unit of the Iglesias Company have reported a thirty-three-year-old man, already known to the Police Force, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The man was stopped by police in Portovesme while driving a small car. During the breath test, he displayed a blood alcohol level nearly six times the legal limit.

The officers immediately confiscated the driver's license, while the vehicle, owned by a third party, was returned to its rightful owner.
