Wild boars for a walk in search of culture. It has been happening for some time inside the archaeological area of Porto Torres which exhibits the finds from the excavations of the Roman city of Turris Libisonis.

The animals sneak between the bars in via Funtana Vecchia, after crossing the Roman bridge. They were spotted in the night as they entered the area adjacent to the Antiquarium Turritano museum , an area that houses the archaeological remains of the ancient Palazzo Re Barbaro, the Domus dei Mosaici Marini and also the Pallottino baths.

Someone filmed them as they entered undisturbed in line, making space between the iron fence rods, obviously damaged, in search of food or fascinated by who knows what attraction. The presence of wild boars has been reported by residents even during the day in some city parks . Intruders graze in groups and leave their tracks, unwanted visitors who enter a delicate and protected area without a ticket.
