A pileup occurred on Via Sassari this morning around noon in Porto Torres . Three vehicles were involved in the accident , which occurred on a straight road near the intersection with Via Michelangelo Buonarroti . The collision occurred due to lane invasion .

A Volkswagen traveling on Via Sassari, toward the port, allegedly skidded and widened, for reasons yet to be determined, so much so that it entered the oncoming lane where a Nissan Juke was traveling in the opposite direction. The collision between the two vehicles also involved a third car parked to the side , a Renault Kadjar, which was struck on its side. The Nissan attempted to avoid it after the collision with the Volkswagen, but was unsuccessful.

Fortunately, no one was injured . Many witnessed the accident. A Carabinieri patrol from the Porto Torres company arrived on the scene to conduct surveys and interview witnesses, which helped reconstruct the accident's dynamics.
