Porto Torres, reimbursement of expenses for those who adopt from municipal shelters

For those who have adopted a dog, the Municipality of Porto Torres is ready to guarantee a refund. The economic benefit, for the expenses incurred for the maintenance of animals during the year 2023, can only be requested by citizens who have adopted a dog from the municipal kennels of Andriolu and Monte Rosè and from the affiliated one in Alta Nurra. Requests can be submitted from January 22nd until February 14th.

Among the documentation to be presented there is a copy of the valid identity document, a copy of detailed receipts and invoices proving only and exclusively the expenses incurred for the maintenance and care of the animal, in addition to the adoption document issued by the reference kennel and veterinary certification attesting to the dog's state of health.

The requests can be forwarded by email to the Municipality or delivered directly to the Environment Service, in via Ponte Romano on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
