A year of silence without a culprit.

It was April 1, 2021 when the lifeless body of Mario Sedda , 39 years old from Porto Torres, was found, killed with a knife and then abandoned in the bushes in a piece of land in Via Sassari. The latest inspection by the Carabinieri of the Ris of Cagliari seemed to lead to a turning point, but from those operations of the Arma specialists, connected to some positive investigative results necessary for in-depth analysis, there has not yet been an answer.

The community and, in particular, family and friends, does not want to forget, indeed, it intends to turn the spotlight on a case that seemed close to the solution. “We don't accept it, we don't want to forget it. Whoever forgets is an accomplice, we ask for justice ”, say the organizers of the initiative, inviting the population to participate in the march which will start at 5 pm on Friday 1 April from the San Gavino Gardens.

A procession that passing from Viale delle Vigne will arrive in the square in front of the graffiti made in his memory, in the road that leads to Serra Li Pozzi. From that place a sit-in will take place, where anyone can intervene, recite a poem, dedicate a thought or a song to Mario Sedda. “Courage, determination, firmly believing in our ideals is our greatest wealth”, said sister Eleonora Sedda, promoter of the march initiative held last November.
