A drunk man punched a police officer in the face. It happened last night, around 1:00 a.m., in Porto Torres, when a 42-year-old local man, under the influence of alcohol, went on a rampage near a bar.
The Carabinieri arrived and tried to stop him, but he reacted violently, striking a soldier in the face and being immediately subdued.
Today, the 42-year-old, represented by Claudio Mastandrea, attended the validation hearing in court in Sassari, where he faces charges of resisting arrest.
Judge Marta Guadalupi, having validated the arrest, ordered that the man be released.
