If on one side there is someone who undoes, on the other there is someone who repairs. It happens on the Scogliolungo beach, on the coast of Porto Torres , which is identified by its dolphin, the work created in a rock in the middle of the sea by the artist Benito Lazzarini and damaged in recent days by a boy. He had climbed onto the back of the structure, swinging several times, despite a swimmer having scolded him.

The statue risked detaching itself from the rock and being lost forever . Instead, two elderly volunteers, master Antonio Congiata, 78 years old, and Angelo Dedola, 75 years old, careful observers and "guardians" of the dolphin, intervened to repair the damage.

At dawn, without hesitating for a moment, they dived to reach what represents the symbol of the beach and, armed with all the necessary equipment, they reinforced the support and painted the statue, hoping that the bathers would limit themselves to photographing the mammal that identifies the splendid beach. Emanuele Lazzarini, son of the author of Balai's dolphin and turtle, was also present to assist with the repair and care work.
