The resurfacing of the road in via Piemonte and greater care for the maintenance of greenery. The mayor of Porto Torres, Massimo Mulas, guarantees some interventions on the decorum in the Villaggio Satellite neighborhood from which, in recent days, the collection of signatures by residents began on the initiative of the territorial group of the Turritano 5 Star Movement.
Yesterday morning the meeting between the representative of the M5s, Loredana De Marco and the mayor to discuss the main problems of municipal competence.
"We appreciated the commitment declared on some aspects, such as the resurfacing of a road and greater attention to the maintenance of public greenery. However, we underline how the needs of the neighborhood are multiple and require broader and more structured interventions , especially regarding the urgent request for effective disinfestation against rats and cockroaches, which continue to represent a threat to the health and safety of the inhabitants".
In the meantime , a meeting with the regional councilor for Public Works, Antonio Piu, has been scheduled for next November . "We hope to organize a public meeting, perhaps at the Filippo Canu hall, which will welcome the entire community sensitive to this issue. On that occasion, we will also ask to clarify how much money has been allocated to the social housing under the jurisdiction of AREA and to provide a detailed schedule of the renovation work."
