Porto Torres, a sinkhole opens and the car ends up inside: a stretch of road closed

A car ended up in a sinkhole opened on the road, in via Ettore Sacchi, a few steps from the center of Porto Torres.
It happened this morning, around 12:30, when for reasons probably attributable to a leak in the sewer system, a collapse of the road surface occurred, right in the center of the carriageway. A large pothole in the center of the carriageway, now delimited by barriers.
On site, the firefighters of the Porto Torres detachment intervened to secure the area, one of the busiest arteries that is creating problems for the traffic of heavy vehicles.
Late this morning, Mayor Massimo Mulas signed the ordinance that imposes a ban on traffic and parking on the stretch of Via Ettore Sacchi, between Via Galilei and Via Roma.
The measure was necessary due to the large sinkhole that represents a danger for motorists. The bus coming from Sassari, once reached via Ettore Sacchi, forced the driver to make complex maneuvers to reach the destination point.
