Safety works at the Port Museum, located in front of the Porto Torres maritime dock. The Municipality is the beneficiary of a 200 thousand euro funding for the arrangement of the structure, a project financed by the Region and managed by the Metropolitan Network of Northern Sardinia.

Among the planned interventions is the safety of the wooden fence, which is currently unsafe and requires demolition and reconstruction. The funds allocated by the Region are not sufficient to carry out the necessary work and therefore it was necessary to proceed with the assignment of the dismantling of the fence through resources deriving from the municipal budget, sums equal to approximately 5 thousand euros. The Port Museum, formerly known as an industrial building called “La Piccola”, currently hosts an exhibition dedicated to the lateen sail, with models of boats and very old tools used for the construction of boats.
