The work inspectors of the Olbia ASL have opened a check on the accident that occurred this afternoon, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda.

A 60-year-old worker was engaged in waterproofing the small airlock of a swimming pool in Liscia di Vacca when he passed out.

The 118 doctors and the personnel of the Arzachena Fire Brigade arrived on the spot. The worker was extracted from the small airlock, inside which the temperature, according to the first investigations, was very high and entrusted to the 118 operators.

The man was treated in the Emergency Department of the Olbia hospital, his conditions are not serious. As soon as the rescue operations were completed, the work inspectors of the Olbia ASL arrived on the spot. The Spresal staff is verifying compliance with the accident prevention measures at the construction site of the swimming pool in Liscia di Vacca.

The findings of the labor inspectors concern the time spent by the worker inside the technical room, equipped with only one small air intake.
