" I was transferred from Olbia with a special provision , now I work in another city, to live as far away as possible from my ex ": with these words a 40-year-old woman explained to the judges of the Tempio Court her condition of victim of stalking, forced to leave everything to protect herself and her children . A woman wearing a uniform, a representative of the police force.

On trial is a 42-year-old man , originally from a town in the Nuoro area but resident in Olbia. According to prosecutor Alessandro Bosco, the alleged stalker would have harassed, bullied, stalked and humiliated his partner from 2016 to 2022 , first in a town in the Barbagia area and then in Olbia. All this also due to a pathological feeling of jealousy .

The woman (assisted by the Prospettiva Donna Association and represented by the lawyer Immacolata Natale) recounted some dramatic episodes in the courtroom, some of which occurred in the presence of the victim's daughters, two very young girls. "Look at that mother you have, she's worth nothing as a woman and as a mother" : this is one of the phrases addressed by men to little ones.

The public prosecutor, Alessandro Bosco, asked that the audio that the victim had on his cell phone be played in the courtroom; the president of the college, Marcella Pinna, agreed. It was perhaps the most dramatic moment of the hearing, the words, in Sardinian, of the stalker resonated in the courtroom, together with the crying of one of the little ones. The criminal lawyer Gian Marco Mura, during the cross-examination of the victim, highlighted some inconsistencies in the reconstruction of the Prosecutor's Office. The trial will resume in the next few weeks.
