Cagliari celebrates a new centenary .

Ignazio Meleddu , a native of Laconi, has reached the century of life. To wish him well, also from the local administration, was the president of the municipal council, Edoardo touch.

Meleddu during the Second World War was held prisoner in a concentration camp in Austria, between 1943 and 1945, but managed to survive despite the terrible conditions.

After the conflict he worked as an Enel worker. A widower since 2008, he has two children and 15 grandchildren.

Among his passions, the use of the computer and the attendance of social networks.

He follows the daily news, has written a book and in spite of the century of life he maintains an excellent state of physical shape.
