Palau, low-flying fire fighter plane: fear in Porto Pollo

Fear in the very early afternoon in Porto Pollo, Palau, due to the sudden appearance of a plane, a twin-engine turboprop, which began flying at very low altitude over the entire area of Isola dei Gabbiani.

The people who live in the Palaese village and the tourists already present on the coast saw the twin-engine plane almost flying overhead. The methods of flight and travel, the presence of a Fire Brigade helicopter at a higher altitude, made us think of a dangerous situation. The twin-engine plane continued to fly over Porto Pollo for several minutes and then moved towards La Maddalena.

The people on the ground, quite alarmed, had no way of recognizing from the livery of the twin-engine aircraft that the aircraft belonged to the small fleet of the Fire Brigade, as it passed over their heads too quickly. Apparently, aerial photogrammetric surveys and video recordings are underway in the area.
