Ozieri is ready to host the 2023 caravan of "Monumenti Aperti" on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May

The municipal administration led by the mayor Marco Peralta, together with the San Michele institution, renew this appointment of tourist and cultural promotion set up by the Imago Mundi Association.

«A 2023 edition which, starting from the title “Pratiche di marvello” wants to be a stimulus for young people and adults to rediscover the pleasure of marveling in front of the beauties of our extraordinary cultural heritage, focusing on the desire to (re)discover the beauties which we have involuntarily become accustomed to, almost pretending that we "don't know – don't know" what we are about to look at, listen to, investigate - underline the promoters -. Wonder, therefore, as a complex emotional condition, which combines fear and surprise, admiration and reverence, enchantment and well-being. The goal is to reduce the distance that is created between the monument and the viewer, between the monument and the community that hosts it».

The monuments that can be visited will be: the Roman bridge Pont'ezzu, the monumental cemetery, the “G. Altana”, the milling art museum, Prometeo, the “Alle Clarisse” Civic Archaeological Museum, the Church of the Beata Vergine del Rosario, the Borgia Prisons, the Grixoni Fountain and the underground path, the San Michele Cave, the Mara Cave, the Grotta del Carmelo, the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art, the Cultural Center and the Church of San Francesco.

On Saturday 6 May the sites will be open to visitors from 16 to 20, while on Sunday 7 May from 10 to 13 and from 15 to 19.
