Ambush in Ortueri, farmer shot dead: killer on the run with the victim's car and phone
Investigators are closing the circle around friends and acquaintances of Graziano Loddo, born in 1968, killed in his companyMurder in Ortueri , where this morning a man was found dead in the countryside, in the locality of Preda Litterada, on the border with Neoneli.
The victim is Graziano Loddo, a breeder born in 1968. Mystery about the man's car and telephone, which have not been found and most likely were taken away by the killers.
The ambush took place in the early hours of the morning in front of his farm, Loddo was shot dead and his body was found around 10 in his estate , when the assassins had already left for a while.
Initially the body folded on the asphalt in front of the entrance to the sheepfold made us think of a sudden illness, but the arrival of the rescuers - alerted by some passers-by - immediately brought the disturbing reality to light: Loddo was killed from one or more shots fired while he was opening the entrance gate of his company .
The investigations are entrusted to the carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Nuoro, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Oristano. The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Tonara and the coroner also intervened on the spot to carry out the first investigations.
In the village and in the nearby countryside , the hunt for the killer has begun with searches, interrogations and checkpoints . The autopsy examination will serve to accurately reconstruct the exact cause of death and the time it occurred, most likely at dawn, when the farmer arrived at his company in Preda Litterada. The killers knew the habits of the farmer, who reached his farm every morning for milking, and were waiting for him there .
