At this point it is no longer an isolated case. But of a phenomenon that tells of an unsafe city, where vandals act quietly undisturbed.

In Oristano for days now there is someone who has been looting all the automatic payment machines in the paid parking lots. The latest episode is from last night, between Sunday and Monday. This time someone acted in the underground car parks of vico Verdi, right in the center.

All this despite the presence of the video surveillance system . Vandals without fear, in short. Not at all. However, to understand if the perpetrator is the gang itself, it will be necessary to wait for the outcome of the investigations by the police, even if the fact that the same method is used does not leave many doubts.

As happened on 21 January in the car parks of via Carducci and a few days ago in those of via Mariano IV, once again the criminals blew up the upper part of the machine with a lever, to then take all the proceeds and run away .

It is as if the vandals were certain that no one guarantees control near the car parks at night, despite the fact that the phenomenon is increasingly frequent. As in the other two episodes, this morning it was a citizen who contacted the offices of the company that manages the stop to communicate that it was not possible to pay because the machine had been tampered with.

The technicians immediately arrived on the spot and taped up the cash box which contained both coins and banknotes . Many onlookers who approached the automatic pay station during the morning. After all, everyone in the city is talking about it now. For now, the automatic pay machines in the upper car parks in via Foscolo and vico Verdi are still free.
