After the warning, in Oristano the four dissident councilors of Forza Italia arrive with a red card. Skipping the second step, that is the suspension provided for by article 70 of the statute, the provincial secretary, Giovanni Mascia has expelled from the party Gianfranco Licheri, Paolo Angioi, Davide Tatti and Valeria Carta.

The same measure was taken against the former group leader, Gigi Mureddu . A predictable epilogue in light of the harsh personal attack that the five signatories had addressed to the provincial leader after the warning for "behaviors not in line with the party's directives".

"They talk about coherence - says Mascia - perhaps forgetting their past. Paolo Angioi, in his first Sardinian version, first tried to obtain an assessorship during the Lutzu council. Then he proposed himself as mayor at the negotiating table in 2022 but, rejected, he sought refuge in the UDC. Here too he did not find space in the council, so he tried with Prospettiva Aristanis. Finally he landed in Forza Italia, but not before running in the regional elections with Sardegna 20Venti". Then the attack on Gianfranco Licheri and Davide Tatti "who did not think twice about turning their backs on their mayor, leaving his party (the only case in Italy) without councilors".

The last thought is for the former commissioner Mureddu: «He often talked about his past with prominent figures in local politics, but he didn't learn much. He asks for the rules to be respected, but in the 2023/2024 season Oristano was the only Sardinian province not to go to the congress because there were no new memberships».
