They arrived from all over Sardinia for a final emotional farewell to Jose Aneris , a climber from Oristano who tragically died last Thursday while climbing in Dorgali .

Friends, acquaintances and the entire Speleological Alpine Rescue team crowded the square of the San Pietro cemetery. "The warmth of this embrace is impressive - sister Cristina said through tears - it shows that my brother spent his life doing good things."

Inconsolable, next to the coffin, was his friend Max Caria who accompanied him on the last excursion which was fatal to him.

«A great friend is leaving, as well as a colleague - the affectionate memory of Guido Biavati, regional president of the Alpine Rescue - He was a pillar of the group of which he had been part for 24 years. There is not a nail planted by Jose in the Sardinian rocks on which we have not all hung."

Also paying homage to the climber was the helicopter of the VII Flight Department of the State Police stationed in Fenosu. At 11am, accompanied by long applause, the coffin left Oristano for Sassari for cremation.
