They slaughtered and illegally sold horsemeat.

The Carabinieri of Orani Station - after checks on a farm and in a local restaurant, they reported a farmer and a restaurateur. During the investigation, the military found about 30 kg of meat in the room in question - presumably processed in the sheepfold - not traced.

The farmer was also fined for failing to register the animals .
