He beat his ex-partner, hitting her with kicks and punches, near a bar just outside Olbia: he stopped only because he was seen by some passers-by who were heading to the place. When she ran away in the car, he launched into a chase trying to catch up with her and attempting to make her go off the road. A man was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile section of Olbia for stalking his ex-partner.
The events occurred last Friday, when 112 received a call for help from a woman who said she was in her car and being chased by her ex. The man, according to the victim's story, had threatened her with a knife shortly before and was trying to push her car off the road.
The soldiers of the motorcycle squad intervened promptly near a service station, on state road 127, at the gates of the city, and managed to track down the man, who had fled in the meantime.
In the attacker's car, the carabinieri found several knives, a baseball bat, a bottle of acid and a bottle of alcohol with gasoline. A real arsenal ready to be used against the ex. Fortunately, the woman was not injured in the attack; her health conditions are good. The arrested man was transferred to the Bancali prison in Sassari.
