"Here is one of the disasters that could happen at sea." Words of the mayor of Villasimius, Gianluca Dessì, who went to look through the papers of the offshore wind farm projects that were presented to the Ministry of Energy Security and the Environment, conceived in the waters of Sardinia.

One, in particular, caught his attention. The Sardegna 2, proposed by Renexia, which would also like to build in Sardinia 1: 92 floating blades in total in front of the Golfo degli Angeli. Among the many documents there are also photographic simulations. In one the blades are clearly visible on the horizon from one of the pearls of the Sarrabus coast, Cala Caterina.

"This is one of the outrages," the mayor emphasizes, "because all of Sardinia will be surrounded by wind farms. And then calling a mass of steel a "park" is sarcastic to say the least."
Dessì states that he is "certainly not against renewables, but I wonder: why don't these companies invest in photovoltaic panels on our homes and earn from the electricity that remains in excess after the needs of all citizens?".
