After a cornice broke off a week ago in Nuoro on Via Monsignor Bua , this morning, about a hundred metres away , a large portion of plaster broke off from a small terrace of a house on Via Aspromonte , falling two floors onto the pavement, just a stone's throw from a restaurant which was still closed at that time.

Fortunately, no one was hurt .

Firefighters responded to the scene and secured some sections of the plaster and debris that were still in danger, while the municipality set up barriers.

The second collapse in just a few days raises questions about the state of the city's real estate assets.
