The judge of the Court of Sassari , Massimo Zaniboni denied the psychiatric report for the multiple murderer Fulvio Baule , the 40-year-old bricklayer from Ploaghe who killed both his in-laws on February 26, also attacking his ex-wife, Ilaria Saladdino with an ax.

The first hearing of the trial for the confessed offender , imprisoned in the Bancali prison on charges of aggravated double homicide and attempted murder , committed in front of his twin sons, just one year old, has closed in the Court of Assizes.

The abandonment of minors , outdoors in winter and at night, after having committed the crime, represents one of the five charges contested by the prosecutor Paolo Piras against the murderer , sanctioned because he carried an ax to the car interior.

His lawyer Nicola Lucchi had asked for the admission of the psychiatric report to shed light on the capacity of understanding and will of the murderer present in the courtroom. Prosecutor Enrica Angioni asked for the admission of the witnesses and the evidence deduced, including the deeds of the technical consultants who carried out the expert report on the two bodies of Basilio Saladdino and his wife Liliana Mancusa, both killed by Baule.

Following the admission of the constitution of the civil parties, represented by the lawyers, Gian Mario Solinas and Gabriele Satta, the hearing began with the admission of the public prosecution's testimonial evidence and the examination of the defence, according to the timetable set by the judge which will begin with the next hearing set for January 17 .

In court , accompanied by their respective husbands also Mariella and Giusy , civil parties, sisters of Ilaria , hospitalized in a health facility on the island, where she underwent a long rehabilitation treatment.
