Here we go again. After a rodent control operation a few weeks ago, the Brotzu scientific high school in Pitz'e Serra, Quartu, is closing its doors again. The reason is the same: after inspections by technicians from Pro Service, commissioned by the Metropolitan City, the presence of rats was once again detected within the school.

Students will be back at home, therefore, from tomorrow until November 11th, with classes suspended. The bait treatment will be carried out tomorrow, followed by daily checks starting on the 9th. On the 11th, the bait will be collected and the treatment will be verified.

The rules to be followed will remain the same, with no one approaching the treatment area and the requirement to keep all windows and doors closed for two hours after the disinfestation is complete. Furthermore, as stated in the closure order signed by the mayor, "before reopening, the treated areas must be ventilated and cleaned, with personnel wearing gloves and appropriate personal protective equipment."

Teaching activities are scheduled to resume on Thursday the 12th, after remediation and cleaning, unless otherwise specified by the contractor.
