No physiatrists available, no home visits. And for a 94-year-old woman from Isili , recovering from a bedridden syndrome after a 15-day hospitalization, it is necessary to face an ordeal journey up to Orroli. To tell the story is his son, Peppino Boi, who entrusts his outburst to social media.
«I had forwarded the request for a home physiatrist visit for my mother», Boi recounts on Facebook, « we were told that it was not possible due to the absence of physiatrists. We had no other option than to book in another structure».
But, in any case, «we were lucky: there was room in the Orroli clinic on 31 August. When I got home, my mother was devastated."
Peppino Boi says it with regret, after the transfer by ambulance became necessary, with all the difficulties involved.
