The stabbing in Piazza Yenne was the only dramatic episode on a night, that of New Year's Eve in Cagliari, which could have been almost perfect on the security front. This is what emerged from the meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security in the Prefecture, held today.
Contributing to the maintenance of the apparatus, a massive number of patrols employed throughout the city territory, not only in the area of the Fair affected by Mengoni's concert, where among other things no critical issues were recorded from the point of view of public order: nine from the State Police, seven from the Carabinieri, two from the Finance Police, as well as two mobile units from the Municipality .
A night which however required a robust commitment on the part of the police, as evidenced by the fifteen calls received by the police and the seventeen to the carabinieri , which arrived between 7pm on 31 December and 1am.
