New cyber attack against the Region after the one suffered in early February. This time the hackers have made thousands of files containing the personal data of employees of the Region and users of some general directorates end up on the dark web.

The attack dates back to June 17. The confirmation comes from the Administration itself that speaks of possible consequences such as "usurpation of identity, loss of control over one's personal data, use of the same data for the purpose of pishing ".

The general directorates involved are those of local authorities and civil protection . The Region makes it known that the disclosure relates to personal data (identity documents, curriculum vitae, mobile phone numbers), health data, information on one's balance sheet and financial position.

Overall , the stolen data weighs 155 giga . On the institutional website, the Region recommends paying particular attention to e-mails and instant messages that can become a vehicle for fraudulent pishing and then to update all passwords.

Meanwhile, the first question from the opposition also arrives. The first signature is by Piero Comandini (Pd) who asks what strategies President Solinas intends to implement to stem as much as possible the damage caused by the publication of sensitive data.
