NATO lands in Sardinia for the gigantic Noble Jump 2023 exercise: "3,000 men and 700 vehicles will participate", reports the Prefecture of Cagliari, which has sent a note to all the Municipalities concerned. The dates: from 27 April to 14 May.

From an official communication from the administration of Carbonia it is known that «the logistical operations of transit of military vehicles will lead to inevitable slowdowns in speed in both directions for drivers of vehicles moving from Carbonia in the direction of Cagliari or towards locality of the lower Sulcis». Or viceversa.

According to the documents, one of the bases of operations will be at the canal port of Cagliari, where an existing concession has just been expanded by 80,000 square meters to allow the landing of military vehicles and the setting up of a logistics system.

The mobilization will be massive, all the shooting ranges of Sardinia will be involved. «The road arteries that will be affected by the passage of the military columns in the areas that lead from Elmas and Decimomannu to Teulada», explained da Carbonia, «are in particular the state road 130, the Provincial Road 86, the Provincial Road 2, the State Road 126, the Provincial Road 74 and the State Road 195».
