He wanted a clarification, so he went to look for Alessio Madeddu, the chef of the restaurant "Sabor'e Mari" found dead yesterday morning in Porto Budello, Teulada. That's why he hit the club on Wednesday night. The subject of the discussion is the alleged clandestine relationship that Madeddu allegedly had with the wife of Angelo Brancasi, a 43-year-old baker who confessed to the crime during the night.

The investigators focused after the first hours after the discovery of the body on the relationships that the victim also had with one of his employees and also examined the video surveillance footage that the cook - under house arrest in an annex where he was serving a sentence for a double attempted murder - used to control the area.

Brancasi, originally from Erice but who lives in Teulada, knocked on the chef's door around 10pm on Wednesday. The two men quarreled then the discussion degenerated and the baker pulled a large knife from his pocket (which he said he brought with him only to defend himself), hitting Madeddu several times who tried to react using a hatchet, the one found next to the body, and tried to escape.

Three or four cuts noticed during the external examination of the body by the coroner, some in the chest and one in the throat.

The many traces of blood, which had suggested the presence of more people, confirm the dynamics. The attacker got into the car, overwhelming the chef who also managed to throw a stone at him, smashing one of the windows. Then he collapsed to the ground.

Brancasi moved away but the marks of the wheels and a rim cover remained on the asphalt.

Yesterday afternoon the man was summoned to the barracks in Teulada, and during the night he was interrogated. Finally he admitted his responsibilities.
