The S'Arexini tunnel on the 125 Var, a few kilometers from Muravera, was reopened just a few minutes ago. A reopening - after a delay of almost three months - right on time compared to what was indicated in the latest Anas order (June 14, 5:00 p.m.).

Tonight, in short, the connection between Cagliari and Ogliastra has been restored, with cars no longer having to divert to the urban center of Muravera . The work, in any case, is not yet finished but will not affect the inside of the tunnel. A sigh of relief for commuters and tourists who are choosing to spend their holidays in the south east of Sardinia.

The roads used as alternative routes still need to be fixed: the old 125, in particular, is in a disastrous condition in the stretch between Muravera and San Priamo .
