Muravera is home to the "primitive paths," three trails through nuraghes, archaeological sites, and nature created by the Limen Sarrabus Gerrei and Archeo Sarrabus associations. "Six thousand years of history are contained within just a few kilometers," explains Limen president Alessio Congiu. "Our goal is twofold: to make the sites accessible and to reawaken citizens' awareness of the richness of our historical and archaeological heritage."

Three routes have been created and are already available (with the contribution of the Municipality of Muravera): Su Tzìpiri, 1500 metres up the mountain in front of the Torre Salinas ponds, “Pirastu”, between Capo Ferrato and Costa Rei (4.5 kilometres) and “Ponzianu” in the woods of Baccu Arrodas (10 kilometres).

These days, the Limen team is putting up the final signs, all in three languages (including Sardinian). From today, anyone visiting Muravera can choose—in addition to one of the splendid beaches—a day among the nuraghi and menhirs, including guided tours.
