The images of the Componidoris of San Giovanni and San Giuseppe will soon welcome those arriving in Oristano from the north and south entrances.

Thanks to the "Author's cabins" project, which sees the collaboration between the municipal department for youth policies and E-distribuzione , the external walls of two electrical cabins located in via Cagliari will be redeveloped through the creation of murals on the Sartiglia.

The works will be created by Fabio Figus , an artist originally from Turri, author of other valuable murals in various municipalities on the island, who has been at work in the cabin near the bridge over the Tirso since Monday. "They will be images that will ideally welcome the city of Sartiglia, but also a dutiful tribute to the Gremi and the knights who were protagonists of the medieval joust", comments the mayor Massimiliano Sanna .

The project, launched by the previous administration, "is part of the objectives programmed behind the impulse of the Youth Consulta - recalls the competent councilor Antonio Franceschi - to encourage artistic practice among young people and at the same time promote a system of redevelopment of spaces and of urban walls".

Over the course of a few months, the two cabins will become precious elements of city furniture . For E-distribuzione's Programming and Management Manager for Sardinia, Alessandro Uccheddu, "this initiative combines the values of sustainability, innovation and respect for the environment that characterize the company's commitment in the area".
