The prosecutor ordered an autopsy on the body of Giacomo Murrai , the farmer from Monti who died while crossing the ford of a flooded stream . The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has entrusted the State Police with in-depth investigations into the matter.

Murrai, 78, may have ended up in the freezing water of the Rio Crasta because the stream had exceeded the height of a concrete crossing , and this circumstance is one of the central questions of the investigation. The elderly farmer was walking along a rural road late Wednesday afternoon to return to his home. The water could have blocked the car and prevented the man from exiting the driver's side door. Murrai, getting out of the door on the right side of the car, ended up in the stream.
