A 74-year-old agricultural entrepreneur, resident in Monastir and with no criminal record, was reported at large to the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office by the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate following an inspection of a local farm.

According to investigators' reconstruction, the man—the company's sole director—had installed video surveillance systems that did not comply with current regulations.

The dispute concerns Article 4 of Law 300/1970, better known as the Workers' Statute, which regulates the use of audiovisual equipment and tools potentially suitable for remote monitoring of employees.

Upon completion of the investigation, the officers imposed fines totaling €387.25. The report was forwarded to the judicial authorities.
