Full speed ahead, towards Sos Enattos . The route that could lead the Einstein Telescope to Lula has been mapped out, but according to University and Research Minister Anna Maria Bernini , it won't even encounter any obstacles. Not even that of the lack of infrastructure: "Together with silence", says the Minister, "it is a competitive advantage compared to the competing site, the Dutch one".

Bernini today visited the mine , together with the president of the Region Christian Solinas , reiterating the government's attention to a future that could bring Lula the largest gravitational wave detector in the world : «The idea of bringing the Einstein Telescope to Italy , in the perfect place where it can find its ideal place, Sos Enattos, is something wonderful ».

Lula as a small Geneva with its Cern, this is the dream shared by the Government and the region: "From the very first moment", said Governor Solinas, "we decided to bet on a large investment , which for the next 30 years will have l uniqueness of attracting all the scientific communities of the world to Sardinia ». An island that would see its DNA distorted, or at least enriched, no longer tied solely to the summer and the coasts: «An attraction no longer just for tourists», continued the President, «but which manages to give back to the areas of the internal image of a favorable ecosystem for investments in terms of research, innovation and development ».

Meanwhile, the next moves are being planned, Solinas will meet Minister Bernini again in Rome next week. The idea is to give new impetus to the candidacy project, and speed up the process , also to "free the area from interference", so said the governor, with a clear reference to the possibility that wind farms could be built in the area .

Then the wait for the definition of the procedure at Community level: «We have already achieved everything that was indispensable», he concluded. «We are now thinking of adding, with the Archimedes and Faber projects that are already in place with the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and the National Institute of Volcanology, further scientific elements , so that the site which naturally already has the best requisites is favored for the final choice ".
