The journey of the Flame of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games stops in Sardinia.

The route, which started this morning in Olbia, will pass through the municipalities of Sassari, Porto Torres, and Alghero, among others, before arriving in Nuoro.

The start, therefore, will be in Olbia shortly after 8:00 a.m., with twenty torchbearers taking center stage in this first segment. The second will take place in Sassari starting at 10:55 a.m., while the third will see the Olympic Flame light up Porto Torres. The start is scheduled for 11:55 a.m.

In the afternoon, the convoy will arrive in Alghero: thirty-two torchbearers will take part in a relay race starting at 2:25 pm. The grand finale will be in Nuoro with twenty torchbearers.

The day will conclude at 6:26 PM with the lighting of the brazier, a moment of celebration and participation that will mark the culmination of the activities in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, including musical performances, experiences, and artistic performances.

The entire journey of the flame, which has the support of Coca-Cola and Eni as presenting partners of the initiative, is enriched by many special parallel events to convey even more emotion and participation along the entire route.
