"Comforting signs" on the condition of the young man suffering from meningitis , despite the caution that remains maximum.
Goffredo Angioni , head of the Infectious Diseases department of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari - where the young man is hospitalized in intensive care - takes stock of the boy's situation, after yesterday's worsening, and reminds us of the symptoms to pay attention to, namely: «Fever between 39 and 40 degrees, headache and then neck stiffness».
Prophylaxis has also been activated for the people with whom the young man, a 22-year-old from Olbia , came into "close contact" , who felt ill on Sunday while taking part in a sporting event in Quartu.
