Maxi cannabis plantation between Mores and Ozieri, three precautionary measures
An Orunese under house arrest, a residence requirement for two 40-year-old workers
The soldiers of the operational unit of the Carabinieri Company of Ozieri have implemented three precautionary measures.
In the crosshairs a 43-year-old worker from Orune, arrested and placed under house arrest, and two 40-year-old workers from Mores, subjected to the obligation to stay.
Three months ago they had been held responsible for the cultivation of about 2,600 cannabis plants which, according to the findings of the forestry carabinieri of the investigative unit of the agri-food and forestry environmental police of Sassari, had a very high active ingredient value compared to the permitted one.
The plantation, identified in land between the municipalities of Mores and Ozieri, had been carefully monitored by the soldiers of the Carabinieri squadron "Cacciatori di Sardegna" who had then intervened with Ozieri's colleagues.
