A new expert to transcribe and evaluate the audio and video environmental interceptions recorded in the Arzachena kindergarten. The judge of Tempio Camilla Tesi has decided to replace the previous expert and to appoint another one in the next hearing scheduled for 26 October.

A provision that inevitably lengthens the trial for the alleged mistreatment in the municipal kindergarten of Arzachena , in which the teacher Katia Tocca and the owner of the Progresso coop which managed the structure, Paola Tali, are accused.

In today's hearing, another mother of the alleged victims and an educator who carried out her internship in the kindergarten during that disputed period testified.

The mother told of the changes in her son's mood, who had become restless and fearful , and of the complaints of the other parents because the children were sometimes left without food as a punishment .

Instead, the educator confirmed the rough methods followed in the school and that on several occasions the children, if they refused to eat, were force-fed.

Katia Tocca , defended by the lawyer Jacopo Merlini, is accused by the prosecutor of ill-treatment of several children, while Paola Tali , defended by Merlini himself and by the lawyer Sergio Diomedi, is accused of failing to report the ill-treatment.

The families of the children and the municipality of Arzachena have filed a civil action.
