Rossana Ledda, 56, entrepreneur, deputy mayor of Macomer since 2013 in the alignment led by Antonio Succu, is the mayoral candidate of the outgoing majority for the elections at the end of May.

"I received solicitations from the majority and above all from civil society - says Ledda - We are working to build a competitive list, strengthened by the experience gained over 10 years, alongside many expert people and as many young and new faces in politics, to give a sign of continuity and at the same time a strong sign of change».

On his side, of the outgoing majority, there is the mayor Antonio Succu, the former councilor Marco Manus and Dalila Puggioni, but also prominent figures in local politics, such as Gina Falchi and the young Umberto Guiso, as well as quality young people, such as Monica Tolu, Alessia Trogu and Davide Lai. Two, so far the opposing civic lists. The one headed by Riccardo Uda, 56, a lawyer, who counts on the presence of Maria Luisa Muzzu, (candidate for mayor in 2018) and leading exponents of the world of sport and business, therefore Macomer 2030, who will still have to decide who will be a candidate mayor, with Luca Pirisi, a 35-year-old economist, Valeria Tola, Azzurra Lochi, Giovanni Cocco and Andrea Scognamillo.

It is a progressive civic list, striving for change. The applications will be completed within the next week, with the lists having to be delivered to the Municipality by 12 noon on 29 April.
