From today in Macomer the elementary schools of the via Bechi Luserna complex are closed, with an order from the mayor, until a date to be established. The school , recently reopened, will remain closed due to problems related to the functioning of the heating .

For this reason, the pupils and teachers were transferred to other institutions.

According to the provisions of the head teacher, Rosella Uda, the first to fourth grade classes will attend the Sertinu schools, while the fifth graders will attend the middle school, still in via Bechi Luserna.

A situation that is creating controversy and protests , including political ones.

The exponent of the Brothers of Italy, Arturo Uleri , in a press release writes among other things: «The children and teachers will again be divided between the schools of Sertinu and in via Bechi Luserna and the families, teaching staff and support staff they fall back into the nightmare of having to go back and forth between two buildings with the relative delays and inconveniences that this organization entails. We find it paradoxical that after two years of renovation, which involved the building, we find ourselves back to square one. Equally paradoxical is that a few months after the problems with the heating of the Sertinu school, we find ourselves in the same conditions also in that of Padru».
