Local roads, from the Region 10 million euros for the Sardinian municipalities
Approved the criteria for assigning funding, the resolution in a package of interventions in favor of local administrations that will exceed one hundred million euros
10 million euros arrive in the coffers of the Sardinian Municipalities for the implementation of interventions on the road system of local interest .
The regional council, on the proposal of the regional councilor for public works, Pierluigi Saiu , has approved the criteria of the tender which will allow for the allocation of funding to individual administrations.
THE PROCEDURES – The applications presented will be included in a ranking that will take into account the level of planning of the interventions (with priority to those further on in the procedures) and the presence of any co-financing.
The proposals will be able to access a maximum loan of 500,000 euros if the municipality has more than 15,000 inhabitants and 300,000 if the population is smaller .
"Thanks to the resources put in place - says councilor Saiu - we will finance the creation of a program for roads, intersections and other road works under the jurisdiction of the Municipalities, including sidewalks and spaces intended for parking and cycle paths".
OTHER INTERVENTIONS – The resolution comes shortly after the approval of the analogous provision which, again in favor of the Municipalities of the Island, made funds available for the restructuring interventions on the churches .
«We are putting in place a coherent package of measures to support the Municipalities, for the benefit of Sardinian citizens. By the end of the summer - specifies the councilor for public works - we will approve a series of measures aimed at supporting the local authorities of Sardinia on some specific spending programs and we will continue by approving an additional economic endowment that allows the scrolling of some rankings still open for the financing of public works, the allocation of the tender for the road network will therefore also be increased, so as to satisfy the needs of a greater number of Sardinian municipalities. Finally, we will program the resources to carry out interventions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings and for public lighting systems. Overall , the package of interventions in favor of the municipalities will exceed one hundred million euros ».
