«The outcome of the Easter weekend on our island was certainly good»; The comment is by the Tourism Councilor, Gianvincenzo Belli. A balance, he continued, «perhaps also unexpected, considering the few flights still available and the holiday scheduled for March, but thanks also to the initiatives of US Garibaldi (volleyball) and Lactic Acid (cycling), we have recorded a notable influx of regional tourism and a share of loyal guests (property owners)."

And this despite the lack of possibility of taking advantage of the announced discounts (the agreement with the shipping companies has not yet been signed), of around 40% of the cost of the ferry ticket for non-residents. Considering the low Easter, only a part of the activities have reopened their doors, which will probably be almost completed by the long weekend of April 25th. On the other hand, the Garibaldi Museum of Caprera was open on both Easter and Easter Monday, with a good influx of visitors, while the Garibaldi Memorial in Arbuticci was open on Easter Monday in the morning and on Easter Monday in the afternoon. However, the two Museums of the National Park, also in Caprera, the Geo-Mineralogical Museum and the Museum of the Sea and Maritime Traditions, are closed due to the start of energy efficiency works at the Environmental Education Center in Stagnali.

Almost 500 people then took part in the traditional Easter Monday lunch, outdoors, despite the bad weather, organized by the Patronal Celebrations Committee, born in 1974, at the former fortress of Punta Tegge while there was a good presence of faithful and tourists at the Procession of the Meeting, between the risen Christ and Mary Magdalene, unique in Sardinia, on Easter morning.
