The list of "repentants" increases who, especially in distant years, took more or less substantial quantities of sand from the Rosa di Budelli beach ( La Maddalena ). The latest return is from these days and concerns a "withdrawal" made 37 years ago , in 1986. The return to the National Park was made by a woman named Giovanna.

" We will take steps to bring this handful of sand back to the splendid Cala di Roto , on the island of Budelli with the certainty that these gestures will be an example for future generations", writes the Park on its page.

«A beautiful photograph is enough – continues the post – to be admired and proudly shown to friends to remind us of an unforgettable holiday; there is certainly no need to subtract what nature has built over millions of years. When you visit a place, the important thing is not to bring a piece of rock, a little sand or a few shells with you to your home: the only thing that matters is to bring with you a nice memory of the places you have visited».
