A yurt in Piazza Gramsci in Cagliari . It is the tent set up this morning by the Kyrgyz community residing in Sardinia. A party that gathered dozens of people in the center of Cagliari.

Among the guests also the regional councilor for Tourism Gianni Chessa, who continues to promote the image of Sardinia open to the world and welcoming, and the president of the municipal council of Cagliari Edoardo Tocco: both wore typical Kyrgyz costumes and became photograph.

About 800 people from the now independent republic live in Sardinia, until 1991 within the Soviet Union. A large part of the Kyrgyz community, about 90 percent, is concentrated in southern Sardinia.
