Approximately six thousand people participated in the demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people today, Saturday, October 10th. The march, which began at 4:00 PM from Piazza Costituzione, passed through Via Manno, Piazza Yenne, and Largo Carlo Felice, before continuing toward Via Roma . The demonstration resulted in the closure of Largo Carlo Felice to traffic and delays along the streets affected by the protesters.

The CTM had announced "dynamic road closures along the route, with possible slowdowns and temporary interruptions to traffic as participants pass."

The protest is part of the national day of mobilization " The End of the Genocide ," with marches and demonstrations organized in about fifty Italian cities. The organizers' demands include an immediate end to the violence in Gaza, the unblocking of humanitarian aid, and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the occupied territories.

The initiative is promoted by the Palestinian Student Movements, the Young Palestinians of Italy, the Association of Palestinians in Italy, and the Arab-Palestinian Democratic Union, with the support of hundreds of associations, unions, student groups, and political groups.

Demonstrations also took place in Rome, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Bologna, Genoa, and Turin, where moments of tension were recorded. Swedish activist Greta Thunberg participated in Naples. The demonstration also involved several European cities, including London.
