The minority group "Oltre le Bocche" in the Santa Teresa Gallura City Council is attacking Mayor Nadia Matta and the council over the water situation at the coastal town's marina. The group, led by Dario Giagoni, issued a statement requesting clarification from the city administrators, the sole administrator, and the management of Silene Multiservizi Surl.

The "Oltre le Bocche" group speaks of "samplings carried out on October 1st and detailed in the text of a municipal ordinance. The analyses revealed frightening levels of microbiological pollution, with peaks of Escherichia coli reaching up to 2,400 CFU/100 ml and intestinal Enterococci equal to 1,200 CFU/100 ml in the area under the bridge, values enormously above the tolerance limits."

Giagoni refers to a municipal ordinance adopting "temporary precautionary measures." The opposition councilors write: "The measure even acknowledges that evident color changes had already occurred in June, with dark and murky water."

These are the questions posed to the mayor by Dario Giagoni, Ilaria Battino, and Andrea Pilia: "How has the risk to workers been managed so far? Why were underwater work prohibited for months for internal staff, but instead outsourced to external operators? What technical and health assessments justified this intolerable disparity in treatment in the same stretch of sea?"
