Daniela Cadeddu was killed while she slept, with at least two blows to the head.

This is confirmed by the autopsy on the body of the 51-year-old woman, originally from Cabras, killed yesterday by her husband Giorgio Meneghel in a house in via Roma in Zeddiani. The analysis, which lasted about five hours and carried out by Dr. Roberto Demontis at the institute of forensic medicine of the Policlinico di Monserrato, practically confirmed what emerged from the first investigations by the carabinieri and from the external examination carried out by the coroner.

The 51-year-old was murdered in her sleep just before her husband's phone call to the carabinieri, a few minutes before 7 am: "I killed my wife, come immediately". He didn't even have time to scream, it all happened in a few moments.

Tomorrow the interrogation was set to validate the arrest of Meneghel, in prison on charges of voluntary murder: the 53-year-old farmer confessed to the crime even in front of the prosecutor of Oristano, Sara Ghiani after shortly before he had called the carabinieri saying he had killed his wife.

He and the victim had been separated for some time and yet they had decided to continue living in the same house, albeit in distinct and communicating areas. Relations, according to what emerged, would always be good.
